1.Winter (October to March)

The temperature of Agra in winter lies between 8-degree Celsius to 14-degree Celsius and drops to 2-degree Celsius in peak winter. Visiting Agra in winter is best for enjoying the pleasant chilly weather and sightseeing at the taj mahal. Simultaneously, one can also stroll in the evening near Fatehabad road and shop at bazaars.

  • oct-nov: Enjoy the Balkeshwar fair, rides, and unlimited food; people celebrate Ram Baraat, the occasion of the marriage of ram Ji and Sita Ji.
  • Dec- Jan: In this season, the most famous ten days fair, Taj Mahotsav, is set up where handicrafts from all around presents their work and are best for shopping, watch cultural show and folk performances with some book fairs and delicious food.
  • March: Holi is a celebrated festival on a grand scale and is a surreal experience to have.

It is advisable to carry woolen clothing in this season. The crowd is at a peak in this season, and therefore the rates of accommodation are a little expensive.

2.Summer (April to June)

The maximum temperature in summer is 40-degree Celsius in Agra. The end of March comes with scorching heat and humid weather with a minimum temperature of 23-degree Celsius. It is an offseason, and therefore, hotels are available at low prices. Visit the taj mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, early in the morning can give your day a fresh start; shopping in the evening and dinner on the rooftop at night marks a perfect end to your day.

3.Monsoon (July to September)

The temperature varies from 25degree Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. This season is neither chilly nor very hot and marks the beginning of the rainy season. Agra experiences low to moderate rainfall in the season, and the taj mahal looks beautiful in this weather.

  • One popular Kailash Maila is celebrated to pay tribute to lord shiva, a prominent Hindu festival that shows people’s faith and trust. Mankameshwar temple is the most crowded place at this time but is a must to visit.

Due to rainy weather, the crowd is less and can plan a budget-friendly trip. It is advisable to carry an umbrella, raincoat for this weather.
